The HERMES Team represents the largest student research group in robotics for medical applications in Greece and operates under the auspices of the University of Thessaly (UP). Specifically, the HERMES Team is active in the development of a fully functional robotic exoskeleton for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI), enabling them to fulfill basic daily needs.

The Centaurus Racing Team is a group of students from the University of Thessaly that since 2009 has aimed to study, design and build fully functional Formula single-seaters, capable of participating in the world’s largest student engineering competition, Formula Student. To date they have designed and built 9 cars with participation in 22 competitions and important awards. Every year the goal is to improve the car through the study of new materials and technologies.

We support our fellow citizens in flooded areas through the Thriasio Pedio Volunteers Association
Once again, PAPADEAS S.A. supports the initiative of the Thriasio Pedio Volunteers Association to immediately send aid to our fellow citizens in the flood affected areas. With the contribution of our partners we managed to collect even more materials, which were delivered to the club and will be sent immediately.

An effort to support our fellow citizens in Samos
Once again, PAPADEAS S.A. assists decisively where there is a need and sends materials to support the earthquake-struck island of Samos. In collaboration with the Association of Volunteers of Thriasio Pedio, we decided to reach out to our other associates to support the island of Samos with us and many responded positively. With the additional contribution of our collaborators we managed to collect even more materials, which were delivered today to the Association and will be sent directly to Samos.

APADEAS S.A. proceeded instead of business gifts for 2011, in supporting of the purpose and the work of “ASSOCIATION OF PARENTS AND KIND OF FRIENDS OF AUTISTIC PEOPLE OF LARISA”. Moved by the action of the Association’s people, the company made a donation of well-respected amount of money as a minimum recognition of the efforts made to improve the every day life of people with autism.
