The HERMES Team represents the largest student research group in robotics for medical applications in Greece and operates under the auspices of the University of Thessaly (UP). Specifically, the HERMES Team is active in the development of a fully functional robotic exoskeleton for people with spinal cord injuries (SCI), enabling them to fulfill basic daily needs. His goal is to participate in the international competition CYBATHLON 2024 in the discipline “Exoskeletal Race”, marking the first Greek participation. With the support of the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering of AUTH, the Hermes Team is moving forward dynamically towards improvement and technological development.
