PAPADEAS S.A. was awarded for the 4th year as one of the 38 most dynamic and healthiest growing leading Greek companies, in the context of the prestigious Diamonds of The Greek Economy 2023 business excellence awards.

Following the improvement of Greece's macroeconomic parameters, businesses, which make up the country's real economy, took risks, expanded into new markets, created wealth and supported their all-important human capital.

Opening the Award Ceremony, the Minister of Transport & Infrastructure, Christos Staikouras, referred to the realistically positive estimates as they unfold for the coming years. Households, businesses, citizens and the State joined forces and our country achieved high growth, upgrading and strengthening of the economy. In particular, public finances have stabilized, the banking system is healthier, unemployment continues to decline, the quality of wealth of the Greek economy is improving, investment and exports have increased much more as a percentage of the GDP composition than consumption and the economic climate is improving. Also, Mr. Staikouras stated that he is realistically optimistic about the future, but as long as we remain on the same trajectory of fiscal discipline and not complacency, as the risks of the volatile geopolitical environment, contractionary monetary policy that does not help credit expansion and persistent inflation have not yet sufficiently dealt with.

Proud, optimistic and obviously satisfied, the representatives of the companies that stood out in their short presentations upon receiving the awards appeared proud, while they boldly declared their intention to continue efforts for even better results with consistency and dedication to their goals. 

We continue our dynamic path with continuous development efforts. In the context of this development, the company is proceeding with the implementation of an investment program reaching 8.5 million euros through the Recovery Fund, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024. The Investment Plan of PAPADEAS S.A. involves the purchase of a plot of 23,000 sq.m. in the area of Aspropyrgos in Western Attica and the creation of a new privately owned logistics center of 8,300 sq.m. and offices of 1,500 sq.m., increasing the capacity of its facilities.

The relevant award was received by the President of the company, Dimitrios Papadeas.
